The Implementation of Online Assessment in Permai Secondary School Abstract This paper discusses findings of a study about the implementation of online assessment in Puchong Permai Secondary School. The study focuses on student’s and teacher’s readiness for the implementation of online assessment in the school. Student’s readiness in the study focuses on facilities given for online assessment implementation. While teacher’s readiness in the study was focused to three aspects namely teacher’s understanding of online assessment, teacher’s ability to implement online assessment and facilities given for online assessment implementation. Discussions are structured as follows : the first section is the research hypothesis. The following discussion describes literature review regarding with online assessment in Permai Secondary School.. The discussion is then followed by the methodology used in the study which includes the study design, population and research instrument. This is followed by the method for analyzing data which aims to identify the perception on students’ and teachers’ readiness for the implementation of online assessment in school. This brings to the results of the analysis and the findings of the study. The section continues with discussion and conclusion. The mean score is in the range of “Disagree” to “Agree”. This shows that teachers as respondents in this study statistically not so agree to percept that they understand about online assessment implementation in Prima Secondary School. From this findings, conclusion can be drawn that teachers as respondents in this study not very sure that they know and understand about implementation of online assessment in Prima Secondary School.
