This is an assigment about our opionion on existing curriculum of Maldives to promote inclusive education. In this written assignment i have included what inclusive education is, positive and negative points related to topic recommending to other peope (literature review based on two theories), why i have chosen the particular theories, authentic examples explaining types of situation where the theories will be effective and many more. As this a topic to be debated by both parents and educators. School counselors can take the lead in assessing school climate in cognition to students with disabilities and initiating interventions or advocating for change when congruous. This article provides an overview of factors to consider in engendering positive school experiences for students with disabilities and suggestions for intervention efforts. All of us, as parents want our children to be accepted by their peers, have friends and live a regular life as others. Inclusive settings can make this vision an authenticity for many children with disabilities. • Children develop a positive understanding of themselves and others. When children attend classes which reflect the homogeneous attributes and differences of people in the community, they learn to appreciate what they have in the diversity. Ask your school principal what is being done to support teachers to include students with diverse needs in the classroom. What should I expect? You can expect the school to provide a plan to support teachers and students through good inclusive practices —like collaboration, team work, innovative instructional practices, peer-strategies, and more. Inclusive education is wher we bring all the students together in one classroom and community whether they are strength is strong or weak in any area, and where they see to maximize the potiential of all the students in the class. For the teacher who is teaching in the class the style may vary to enhance learning for all students. Also teachers provide special attention and give individual support and services to those students in the class. Inclusion is an effort to make sure that the learner is diverse. Those children with disabilties, different country, language, culture, home, family lives, the different way they are interested in learning are exposed to teaching strategies that reach them as an indivual learner.
