Abstract ---According to the statistics we are lag of power production. Our project helps to overcome this power shortage by using solar power which is a renewable energy source. The solar energy is abundantly available throughout,so the output voltage from the PV panel is not always constant. Thus the input voltage of the PV inverter can vary widely which is quite different from the desirable voltage level. So we go for Implementation of DC-DC converter with isolated coupled inductor by using non-dissipative snubber for solar energy applications. In this project the proposed converter realizes high step-up voltage gain without incurring a high coupled inductor turns ratio by adapting a dual-voltage doubler circuit. In addition, the energy in…show more content…
Therefore, energy conservation and carbon emission reduction are important issues in modern-day society. kamatchipriya C,PG student , Department of EEE ,Sri Venkateswara College Of Engineering and Technology Chennai, India, E-mail:kamatchipriya16@gmail.com Past technological developments were intended to improve human life and have been oriented toward eliminating inconveniences. Currently, environmental protection is a primary concern, in which available energy from natural resources is developed for ease of use. Such developments are also designed to generate inexpensive and effective energy sources while highlighting the importance of minimizing environmental destruction and pollution. Solar energy is one of the most extensively exploited sources of effective natural energy. An increasing number of countries and research institutions infuse substantial manpower and monetary investments in solarenergy- based projects [1]–[4].Given global attention,…show more content…
A typical multiple ac module, shown in Fig. 1(b), indicates that the shading effect will only influence the PV modules that are shadowed, so the overall energy conversion can be increased [5]–[9]. This study proposes a coupled-inductorintegrated dc-dc converter with a nondissipative snubber that is very suitable for the isolated high step-up dc-dc converters in ac modules and dc optimizers. To enable high step-up gain and conversion efficiency with appropriate duty cycles, numerous researchers have proposed high-efficiency nonisolated high step-up converters [10]–[21]. These nonisolatedconverters for high step-up applications are used with switched-capacitor converters [10], [11], voltage multipliers [12]–[14], cascaded converters [15], [16], and coupled inductors [17]–[21] to obtain high step-up gain and to recycle leakage energy in order to improve efficiency. However, the high step-up gain of nonisolated converters cannot satisfy the requirements of the galvanic isolation standards. Thus, some isolated high step-up converters have been proposed. These converters can be used with coupled inductors integrated with isolated transformers [22], voltage multipliers [23], [24], coupled inductors integrated with voltage multipliers [25], [26],
