Information Communications Technology is around us every day, every hour and every minute. As we can recognize within the world we live in is based on technology and is developing constantly as we speak. Communication Technology varies from digital means such as mobile phones which have developed into smartphones and the World Wide Web which 3,885,567,619 people constantly avail of every single day on average. We depend on technology to assist us with everyday life and objectives, such as business and social purposes. People constantly send emails, texting, videos calls and use social media on an everyday basis. As a result, we will see the difference between communications technology with individuals and through a business. Nowadays nearly all business’ use technology, many business use technologies to communicate through video conference, if a person is unable to attend in person they may use SKYPE to be a part of the business meeting while they could be in another country or for their stock market updating all information on a regular basis or for targeting consumers for launching new products. Nowadays business managers will arrange to have emails sent out to their consumers updating them on new products or services launched or would promote on social media pages. The impact of communications technology varies a bit but has the same concept, as we see technology changed the way we communicate with each other on a regular basis we can stay in touch with people all over the world, parents can keep up to date with their children and family can keep in touch while away. Many free apps such as Viber, Messenger and IMessage can be downloaded to text and call people for free with the use of Wi-Fi or mobile data. This benefited many students in education as for students are able to gather knowledge without ever leaving a classroom. Searching for data and information is easier and quicker now it's all a click of a button, for example a doctor’s surgery has all medical records stored on a database system and can be got within seconds which makes life easier. Data storage has increased greatly by unlimited storage meaning large amounts of data can be stored on hard disc and usb’s instead of having a large quantity of paper lying around. With everything we do there’s good and of course bad with ICT ithey are many downfalls such as cyber bullying this is a big issue worldwide and is happening every day. Cyberbullying is used through ICT to taunt and humiliate one another it is intended to embarrass and bring down people’s self-esteem down. The difference with ICT cyber bullying is that it’s done online not face to face, sometimes this is anonymous such as ask.fm or Facebook. Cyber bullying has resulted into many young teenagers committing suicide as for they feel they have no one to talk
