People wonder what it is that turns an innocently born child into a psychotic killer with no control. do you blame it on there parents? maybe they were just born into that life. Could it be mental disorders? Ted Bundy was born November 24, 1946, in Burlington, Vermont. By the 1970s, he was classified a serial killer. Ted murdered young women in several states. He confessed that he was connected to at least 36 murders, but some thought he had committed over 100. He was executed in Florida's electric chair in 1989. What was unique about Bundy was his charm and intelligence. it made him some sort of a celebrity during his trial, and his case inspired many novels and films about serial killers. His father ran off before he was even born. Since Eleanor came from a strongly religious town she went to the Elizabeth Lund House for Unwed Women in Burlington, Vermont so she could safely have her baby. She later moved back to Philadelphia to her parents house with the baby. To hide that Ted was an illegitimate child she had her parents raise ted as there own adopted child. Ted was told growing up that Eleanor was really his sister. In 1974 Bundy realized the truth, that did not go over well. this was the start of Ted's indecent tendencies.Ted's grandfather, who had raised him was very abusive which was later thought to have set him off badly. Although his home life was a mess he excelling in his school work. He was a shy and introverted student throughout school at Woodrow Wilson high school and college but he worked hard. During this time he had many jobs,never holding a job for more than a couple months. some of his jobs included stocking shelves, bagging groceries, and buss boying at restaurants . He usually left a job on his own terms, his bosses usually liked him very much. “I just liked to kill. I wanted to kill.” ~Ted
