olympic sports include badminton, trampoline, ping pong, shooting, rhythmic gymnastics, and even synchronized swimming (Caple). Why not softball? Since the removal of softball from the Olympics, it is barely recognized as a sport (“Should Softball”). Softball was featured in the Summer Olympics from 1996 to 2008, but removed from the programme for 2012 and 2016. I believe it should be brought back, it helps give young girls like myself , hope of a future in the sport they love the most (“Should Softball”)
you are astounded. It is a girl! As you can tell, this is something that is not common. You do not commonly see girls playing on boys’ sports teams. This is because not all girls have this opportunity to do this. This is not allowed in some schools or sometimes even towns. But say if number 26 was not on the team, would your team have not won the whole thing? Girls should be allowed to play with boys. They should be allowed because, one reason is not every sport has a girls team available. Also women
A football coach that not only coached but played football himself stated that he would NOT want an 8 year old boy to play football. There are many ways concussions can be bad just some examples are, how concussions affect their home life, that girls have a higher chance of getting concussions, and how the school life of a student will be affected after a concussion. In the first place, Concussions can affect people in many ways, one way is home life/ how they live at home. CTE ( chronic traumatic
Should men and women compete against each other in sport? I would like to look at this subject because I am passionate about gender equality in sports and how women should not be discriminated against just because of their size or strength. Feminist movements in 1970 were just the beginning for breaking down gender stereotypes and women being excluded from sporting events. However, organisations are still discriminating against women in many sports due to a clause in the equal opportunities legislation

Women in Olympics Women did not just get to participate one day to the next just because they said “can I play?” Can you imagine how much the men would have laughed if their daughter/sister/wife asked if they could join the game. “No you can nott, you are a girl.” And that was the end of the argument. It took women a long time to get to where they are today. Women today participate in the Olympics, world cups, competitions. But we are still not there yet all the way. But how did women get there
women's sports were broadcasted on T.V. Unfortunately, the issue of equality between women's and men's sports rise as the years progress. Fighting for the rights of women and men, organizations seek for support from many people in order to create teams with different genders to play against each other. Institutions fight for Women's sports team to receive the same benefits as men's sports. They feel as though these teams are just as skilled. In a huge way, history impacted the way sports are today;
of years had to endure this until now. Women started to get involved in many things that they weren’t allowed to do such as sports and even getting jobs which had made a big difference for them. However, the biggest thing that people to this day still talk about is women playing sports. There has been multiple of sides as to whether or not women should do sports or should not.
you try to be a man? One particular angle that interest me in Guyland, by Michael Kimmel and “God,” by Benjamin Nugent, is how men try so hard to fit into the social norms of masculinity, that it causes them to act like something they're not. The reasons that these boys forced themselves into social norms is because they don't want to be rejected and isolated from their group. In one of the chapters “Bro before Hos” Kimmel talks about what the society thinks the definition of masculinity . Kimmel
age where it okay to participate in Coed sports. The league has allowed Kymora to participate in the national basketball tournament for the past two years. It is unfair to her and her team to disqualify them. It was obvious that they did not know of this new rule that was randomly in place. It seems like a lot of the people that were helping to run the event had no actual knowledge of this rule being in place. If this new rule was sent out to everyone why did the check-in people allow Kymora to enter
