I awoke to the sound of the baby monitor crackling with a voice comforting my first born child. As I adjusted to a new position, my arm brushed against my wife, sleeping next to me. I sat up listening intently to the monitor. I go a sinking feeling in my stomach. Before I did anything I tried to make out who it was. I didn’t want to do anything I would regret. The voice didn’t sound familiar to me. Immediately I get out of bed and go to my baby. As I’m walking towards her nursery, the women’s voice gets louder. When I finally get to the room I looked through the cracked door. I tried to get a glimpse of the women, but she seems to have left. I walk in and go straight towards my child, Samantha. She’s crying so I pick her up and just hold her in my arms. All of a sudden I hear a noise come from down the hall. It sounded like a picture from the wall fell and shattered. I wake her up and tell her someone’s in the house. My heart is beating faster and faster by the second. My wife goes and grabs our daughter and takes her back into our bedroom. I go into our laundry room and get a baseball bat. As I’m heading back to my wife, I hear her scream. I run as fast as I can to her. When I get to the room, I see an old, beat up creepy thing on top of my wife attacking her. The creature looks like a very old lady who has bruises and cuts all over her. Her hair is ratted up and she is covered in dirt. I go to them to save my wife, but before I can get to them, the monster jumps out my bedroom window. I sprint to the window and see her run to the edge of the fence in my backyard. I run down the hallway and out my backdoor. I see the monster go through a hole in my fence and head into the woods. I follow it, curious as to what it is and where it’s going. I has a good eye on her, but all of a sudden, it was nowhere to be seen. I look everywhere, but the creature is
