The day couldn't have been more perfect. The sun was shining, the sky was a bright blue, the breeze was flowing, and the smell of the Alantic Ocean tied it all together. We were at the pier in Alantic City where the rides were. My teammates already went on a couple rides, but now, we all wanted to get on the swings. We stood in line, and chatted for a while with teams from other states and other parts of New Jersey. Then, we started dancing to the tunes that were playing on full blast. We were almost up, and then I started to plan how I was going to get a seat. There were a million people in line behind me, and I started to worry about not getting a seat. Finally, he opened the gate and let us in. I quickly hurried and put my stuff with my other teammates stuff, but I was in such a hurry, that I didn't know that I still have my phone in my hand. The inside seats were taken, so I had to sit in the outside seat. Just great. Back and forth, back and forth, back and forth... The swing swayed like a palm tree in the wind. Just sitting there, waiting for the ride to get started. All of a sudden, the swing jolted. My eyes grew wide. My heart was beating fast as the swings started to rise above the ground. It rose up so high, you could most of the rides. It started to move, it started to move faster, and faster. I was okay at first. I've been on the ride before. It's the same game. But then, it started to tilt. I was leaning to the side. I looked down below my feet, and the Alantic Ocean was beneath me. I had also just realized that I had my phone in my hand the whole time. I had the, "How-Could-I Be-So-Stupid" look frozen on my face. I was right over the ocean, so I was so scared of dropping my phone in the water. I was scared it was gonna slip, fly out of my hands from the wind, or get knocked out of my hands from the
