The Lovely Game: Soccer One of my favorite activities to do is to play soccer. I could kick a soccer ball around all day. Nothing is more fun than getting my soccer uniform on and competing with other teams with your best friends by your side. I believe everyone should pick up this recreational sport because it is a great stress reliever, and it is a great way to get into physical shape. What’s my favorite part about this activity? It’s really just the love of the game. It’s the people in the stands cheering for you and wanting you to score. It’s scoring goals in big games, making friends, and sometimes it’s even fun to make enemies in the sport. Everyone’s out there for the same reason, and that reason is the love of the game. Beginners to the game have no way to possibly have any clue on what they’re searching for. Therefore, beginners are almost “shopping blind.” There is a lot of research behind finding the perfect boots, but trial and error is in fact the best way to find the perfect fit. Now that you’ve find your perfect fit, you’re ready to get on the pitch. According to Wayne Rooney, old soccer teammate of mine, his favorite part of soccer is soccer is more than just a game. It’s a lifestyle that will be a part of your life forever. Soccer is a small part of his life but it’s one of his favorite parts of his life. The memories he has gained from soccer will carry on through his lifetime (outside interview).
