Being the closest to patients’ caregivers, nurses are considered as major contributors to healthcare organizations. The recent recession showed that nurses older than 50 years of age had to reenter the hospital workforce, meaning that the hospital shortage re-emerge challenges administration to use the experienced retires workforce to mentor younger nurses (Cherry & Jacob, 2014). Currently, there is already a nursing shortage observed within the healthcare facilities and this tendency starts increasing, so the policymakers need to take note to react on this coming trend . For now, nursing students should learn to be more responsible and initiative to master essential core competencies. According to the results of the study conducted by the research university in Sweden, the group supervision is an effective method to monitor student personal and professional growth, as well as management and student development (Cherry & Jacob, 2014). However, there are new methods aimed at promoting more effective clinical learning opportunities for students without overburdening staff. Furthermore, medical staff is aging and retiring, but there are still a number of prospective qualified replacements severely limited.
