As Calvin Coolidge claims, “Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent”. When education plays this much importance in our life, we should carefully choose our method of achieving it. However do we really choose efficient way? Is the method we choose can require us with the competent education? These questions are debatable in 21th century. Education can be gained by different methods. Juvenile that choose homeschooling contribute to learn individually by different experiences. However in public schools they can definite education that is been decided by education parliament. It is quite clear that, children learn the same basic skills, whether they study at home or in school. What they learn, what they are taught, and basics are the same. On the other hand, it is worth pointing out that it is common foundation that they are different. In homeschooling, parents generally decide by themselves the focus of child’s education. The curriculum is changed depending on parent either because of child’s curiosity or parent’s timing. It is particularly significant that, homeschooled children receive some type of religious instructions while they are educated. In other words, homeschooling takes the shape of whatever parents most want to teach his or her child. In comparison, it goes without saying that regular public school curriculum is different. It is quite clear that, public schools base their curriculums on state standards. Public school lessons are geared so that the students can reach and surpass those standards that have been geared. Sometimes, time can cause difficulties with covering material in depth; nonetheless, public school scholars are exposed to a broad range of concepts, basics and ideas. One of them may offer better environment for children or education and skills. On the other hand the other one may expose child to a world of ideas and abilities, which other people could not possibly think of. It might be difficult to choose between them because while having many differences they are quite affinitive too. On the other hand, depending on child’s learning capacity or method either of them can be useful and chosen by parents.
