At first when I was assigned this assignment I did not know how everything would work out. Once I carefully read the directions I decided to practice my mouna in the foster forest preserve. To prepare for mouna I told my parents that I would be heading out for around four hours and that this assignment required me to be fully disconnected from people. At first my parents didn’t understand, but after I explained the assignment they told me it was okay and to be careful. It was a sunny yet chilly Friday morning I slept for 8 hours and then I woke up and made myself some breakfast. My breakfast consists of one cup of oatmeal with strawberries and blueberries and a cup of green tea. After eating breakfast, I showered and got ready for my mouna.…show more content…
In the middle of the silence, I was aware of everything that was going on around me. One thing that came across my mind was something that had been bothering me for a while now. I am terrified of applying to nursing schools. I am scared of not being accepted to any school. Even though, last Wednesday I talked to one of the transfer advisors from a nursing school and he told me that my GPA was great, I am still scared of being rejected. Another thought that crosses my mind was my teas test. This test is very important because the score I receive will determine many things for my future education. This test will determine what school I will be attending and how many scholarships I will be receiving. After being zone-out into my thought for a while I realized that three hours had passed since I started my mouna. As soon as, I saw my watch I stood up and walked back towards my car to grab a notebook and a pencil to start wring my reflection.
