Volunteering To A Nursing Home Analysis

Since middle school, I have been involved in a variety of volunteer work, from teaching Sunday school classes to visiting nursing homes. Through these experiences, I have become more mature in my understanding of the different challenges that people face in life and I have had the opportunity to interact with many different types of people, which I otherwise would not have encountered. One of the most meaningful volunteer activities I have been involved with is volunteering at a local nursing home in Ripon, WI for the past two years. Every Friday afternoon, I look forward to going to the nursing home, visiting with the residents, and running activities. Having the opportunity to bring a little extra joy into the lives of these residents helps
