The procedures are mainly self explanatory, I first introduced the oreos, then told you the prices and how many came in a packaged. Next, I explained and hypotheses about who created the oreo and what package of oreos has the better buy which is finding the unit rate .The last thing I did was also explain the materials needed in order to complete this essay and now I have given the procedures of my essay. My resources told me that a package with 30 oreos is $2.75 which is the same price as 25 oreos. To find my unit rate I divided $2.75 by 30 and my answer was $0.91, next I divided $2.75 by 25 and my answer was $0.11. Even though the price is the same the unit proves that the better buy of oreos is 25 cookies for $2.75. I made a hypothesis that the oreos with 30 would be the better buy than the oreos for 25 for the price of $2.75. The unit rate proved me wrong because I divided 30 and 25 by $2.75 and 25 oreos came out with the better buy of 11 cent. At the beginning I thought my hypothesis was right because if 30 oreos is the same price as 25 oreos which is $2.75 then why wouldn’t I choose 30 oreos as the better buy?…show more content…
