My Personal Beliefs

My personal beliefs fit best with Immanuel Kant. I agree with the idea that we all have a duty to be and do good. I believe that we all have worth, and we should not use other people to get ahead. For example, a friend of mine lost her student ID a while back. Just recently she got a phone call from a man who had found her ID along with a stack of credit cards and debit cards that had all likely been stolen. The man could have taken the cards and tried to use them. He could have just thrown them away or left them where he found them. Instead, he took the time out of his day to contact everyone whose card was in the stack. He did not gain anything by doing so, but he felt he had a duty to let people know that their card had been found
