Total Quality Management, is a method by which management and employees can become involved in the continuous improvement of the production of goods and services. It is a combination of quality and management tools aimed at increasing business and reducing losses due to wasteful practices. Quality is viewed as a social responsibility, whereas every individual involved in the process of a product, should demonstrate commitment towards continuous improvement of the end product. Quality also contributes to superior performance in the marketplace and delivers more revenue to the organization and the ability of the organization to obtain higher margins.
