ISIS Agendas and Their Results ISIS aims at creating havoc among the civilization, eliminating the concept of humanity and creating tensions between countries to trigger war worldwide. One of them being clashes between ISIS and the civilization. Besides sheer barbarism, ISIS follows an agenda of destroying the precious architecture and historical monuments in the areas that it captures. It has destroyed thousands of invaluable artifacts and monuments which have been preserved for more than 5000 years. A recent propaganda video shows ISIS bombing the temple of Baal shamin in the city of Palmyra. That’s not it. It is a fact that ISIS has slaughtered thousands of civilians mostly Muslims confined to Countries like Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan and Pakistan. It also forced people to flee their homes which has given rise to the refugee-crisis. ISIS is not only confined to Iraq and Syria. It has a global presence in countries like Mexico, Sudan, South-Sudan, Libya, Saudi-Arabia and many more. Recently, a deadly attack took place in Tunisia in which 38 tourists were killed when ISIS extremists stormed a hotel and started firing indiscriminately. Moreover, there were bombings in a mosque in Saudi Arabia when suicide bomber blew himself up while people were offering their prayers. ISIS claimed responsibility for both the attacks. ISIS has threatened the U.S. that they plan for even a bigger attack than 9/11. ISIS is infamous for crucifycations and barbaric methods it follows to raze humanity from the face of earth. Sharing the videos showing beheadings of International journalists and tourists, burning Jordanian pilot alive and executing troops of Iraqi military has been a part of its propaganda to intimidate its opponents worldwide. and Russia to engage in a war indirectly. Russia’s recent intervention in carrying out airstrikes in Syria has outraged U.S. officials. The U.S. government is dubious about Russia’s intentions. It has been observed so far that Russian fighter jets are targeting opposition rebels instead of ISIS. Being an ally, The Soviet Union is leaving no stone unturned to maintain the presidency of Bashar Al Assad in Syria. On October 1, 2015, Russia started carrying out military operations and airstrikes against ISIS without letting the U.S. know. Ironically, Russian military gave a warning to the U.S. military to back off and clear the area for the Russian jets. The outcome is not satisfactory. The diiference between Russia’s and the U.S. ideology is that Russia has a clearer strategy which is to defend Assad’s presidency. By doing this Russia is trying to prove that it is better ally than the U.S. The U.S. wants that the Syrian president should surrender his position. Russia wants the opposite.
