For the last few years I knew that I wanted to make an impact on children and young people's lives and I feel that education is the best way to do this. I believe that education is the most important asset for a person as it helps shape their future and live a better life. I have always wanted to be an early year’s teacher and help children achieve their dreams and aspirations, helping them achieve what they want in life is a big passion of mine. I feel that my knowledge, wisdom and love of children will allow me to achieve my goals. During this placement I worked with trained professionals to deliver a great standard of teaching to young pupils. I feel like this placement helped me to understand the role and responsibilities of a teacher. During my placement I had a number of responsibilities which I had do, one of the roles was to read pupils work and make any corrections they had. I also had to help children read one-to-one which I really enjoyed. I liked having the responsibility of supervising the children while learning and interacting with the children. I am an enthusiastic and hard working person which I feel is important when working with children. I believe that the first few years of a child’s life are important and that they need to be surrounded with a number of positive role models, I feel like I am a role model and hope to make an impact on children's lives.
