While reading this essay, there were multiple times in which my mouth literally dropped open with disbelief. The censoring actions of the principle at Francis Lewis High School shocked me and made me want to fly to New York City just to yell at her myself. In a country in which Freedom of Speech is enforced and censorship is supposedly illegal, I could not believe that a situation such as this happened so recently.
