In the novel there are many different characters and each of them have a unique purpose. They all serve very different functions to make the story complete. The most important characters are Nick, Gatsby, and Daisy because they all add the most to the plot. The importance of Nick Carraway is that he is the narrator. He has the perfect attitude and kindness, to be able to get along with everyone. This gives the readers a great look into all the characters and who they are. Is important to the plot is that he is the person that gets Gatsby and Daisy together again. Without Nick it would be a completely different story. Gatsby is obviously one of the most needed characters considering he is most of the story. F. Scott Fitzgerald used Gatsby
