Seeing homeless people everyday early in the morning is something sad that a few weeks ago I began experiencing when I started working downtown. The fact that they sleep on the street without blankets, without having a place to eat, shower, rest, or just feel safe and warm you can imagine what a sad life they have. Even though I don’t know their stories I know that many homeless are slaves of drugs, have been abused, are runaway teens, suffer from mental illness, or just can’t afford to pay a rent. Many people die on the streets for many reasons, some because of a sickness or disease others because of their age, and others are killed.
