Taylor Swift is an American singer and songwriter. She was born on December 13, 1989 in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania on a Christmas tree farm. Her full name is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor’s parents are called Scott and Andrea Swift. She is the first child out of two. Also, she is a seven time Grammy winner. When she was 14, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee to try to get a career in music. She then fell in love with country music. At the age of 14, she signed and became the youngest songwriter ever to be signed to a publishing deal with Sony/ATV. At a show at the Bluebird Cafe, Taylor grabbed the attention of Scott Brochetta, who at the time was planning to begin a new label. In October of 2010 she released her third album, Speak Now. The album sold over one million copies in its first week of release. In the beginning of 2012, her Speak Now album was on Rolling Stone’s prestigious The 50 greatest Albums of All Time list. Taylor’s fourth album RED has topped the Billboard 200 Albums Chart for seven weeks. With her album RED, she became the first artist since the Beatles to be able to log six or more weeks at No. 1 with three studio albums.
