Looking back at my childhood as a high school student, I can confidently say that summer was, without a doubt, the most exciting thing about my childhood. It wasn't the relief of not having to sit in school that I looked forward too, nor was it the fun I was going to have at the lake. Basketball was where my excitement stemmed from. Every summer I would spend hours outside whether it was 90 degrees or the rain was pouring down. Aside from shooting the ball in the front yard endlessly, I couldn't wait to go to the camps I had signed up for. One of my favorite's was Ashland High School's youth basketball camp.
