The lesson that Everyman learns can be applied to a person's life in a few ways. For example, Everyman's lesson could be interpreted as "you cannot bring anything but good deeds to the grave," or "as you go through life certain attributes leave you." I believe that you can apply this to a younger version of yourself. As you grow older you leave behind attitudes and other characteristics just as the characters left Everyman. When I was younger, I had things such as toys, games, and other kids things that I have grown out of.
