The lesson that Everyman learns can be applied to a person's life in a few ways. For example, Everyman's lesson could be interpreted as "you cannot bring anything but good deeds to the grave," or "as you go through life certain attributes leave you." I believe that you can apply this to a younger version of yourself. As you grow older you leave behind attitudes and other characteristics just as the characters left Everyman. When I was younger, I had things such as toys, games, and other kids things that I have grown out of. The friends that you have when you are younger are not people you can trust, they do not know better and are learning, they lie and other things that make you realize that these people are not really a friend.
