Robert Shea once said “ Ultimately we may still ask why can’t humans design a perfect society.” Throughout history mankind has established numerous types of societies for instance, around 11,000 years ago, hunting and gathering was one of the first created. Over time as mankind developed and expanded the structure of society has also expanded as well. Even though societies have changed throughout history they all included similar elements. In order for a society to be considered effective they must include basic elements such as rule and law, religion, culture, economics and composition.The group's stance on how a colony should be governed is better than my colony because it is more established and their ideals are developed than mine. Over a lifetime we have been battling with religion a word that is used frequently throughout civilization. when it came to religion my new colony will have absolute religious freedom,You have the natural born right to adopt any religion that best suits you and makes you happy,but if someone commits a crime their religion can not protect them against their punishment, everyone will be treated a one and my group member had the same answer when it came to religion. Another important element to have when trying to re build a successful colony is to establish the culture, we said that everyone should be able to express themselves in whatever way they desired but in a safe way. I feel that if you are gay, transgender, or bi you will feel welcome, everyone is entitled to dress however they want to and express themselves in the best way possible.
