Physics is can be found in different things on your surroundings. Even you are sitting on a chair phisics is there, even you are talking physics may be pertinent. But the difining psysics, it is the study of properties, behavior and interaction between matter and energy. It is a branch of science concerned with the study of properties and interactions of space, time, matter and energy. Physics concerned on time because time in physics is defined by its measurement time is what a clock reads. In classical, non-relativistic physics it is a scalar quantity and, like length, mass, and charge, is usually described as a fundamental quantity. Many of the school thought physics specially when it is concerned on working on ship, engineering, physics…show more content…
On 4cl midshipmen, physics were taught on marine transportation and marine engineering midshipmens. In our physics subject in marine transportation taught use diffenrent activities and experiments that we perfiormed especially on physics laboratory. There are lots of activities we have done on Physics 1, especially on laboratory. There are lots of activities and experiments that we have done that i liked, but the activities that i like most is the measuring the friction force of one object to another object. Friction is the force resisting the relative motion of solid surfaces, fluid layers, and material elements sliding against each other. There are many types of friction, dry friction, Fluid friction, Lubricated friction, Skin friction, and enternal friction. We have done the finding a friction force on different surface activity on the physics lab using different laboratory aparatus like felt, wieghts, and the software in the laptop that measures the friction of an object. The materials given to use were very useful in our activity beacause we easily identify the friction by using it. It is also challenging to use the materials its beacause that was the first time we used it. We done it so that we will know how to find the friction force and perform what task given to us. We learned on this activity that there are different friction force on different objects. I like doing it because it is so…show more content…
Physics provides quantitative and analytic skills needed for analyzing data and solving problems in the sciences, engineering and medicine, as well as in economics, finance, management, law and public policy. All of us including professional physicists find college physics courses challenging, because they require us to master the many concepts and skills that make training in physics so valuable in such a wide range of
