Student’s academic learning and performances can be affected by many factors such as gender, age, teaching staff, father/ family’s economic condition, family’s social status, total study hours, and accommodation of them as hostelries or day scholars (Pritchard, 1996). Many researchers have done some researchs on finding the factors of sress affects academic performance. A study that was conducted by Phinney ang Haas (2003) emphasized and elaborated that the students encounters a unique set of stressful events which includes: domestic responsibilities, difficult financial problem, responsibilities relevant to holding a job while in school, and a heavy academic load. Further, Dr. Sian Beilock, psychologist, points out that her research indicates that stressful academic situations impact the performance of students. If stress is not managed properly, it can prevent students from successfully achieving their academic goals.…show more content…
Examples financial difficulties, health challenge issues, conflicts with friends, all carry force or pressure on person's body -mind and spirit.
