The book The Outsiders there are several characters that play the role of being a hero very well. As it seems the main characters in the book don’t seem to know they’re natural heroic behavior. Everyone as usual seems to have their own perspectives of the characters. As you hear the very familiar saying don’t judge a book by its cover well that’s how everyone is. They don’t give the greasers a chance they constantly down them. There’s several events that take place in the story that cause the characters to show their heroic behavior There are two types of groups in the the story. The Greasers and the Socs. The Socs seem to have it better than Greasers, and the Greasers have it worse than the Socs. The Socs is what you would refer to as Bullies…show more content…
He noticed there were little children and two adults outside the church. The teachers were screaming with horror saying there were several children missing. As Ponyboys natural instinct he jumped inside the church and got inside the window to help the tramped children.. Johnny got out the car at the same time Ponyboy did and they were in at the same time saving the children. Johnny on the other hand helped save Ponyboys life. As the burning embers were falling for the church, and the church was quickly filling with smoke and Ponyboy and Johnny were quickly losing their breathe, Johnny knew he had to act quickly. They all took their turns speaking. Later that night there was suppose to be a big rumble between the Socs and Greasers. So the Curtis brothers left the hospital to go join in the yearly rumble, they figured it would make Johnny proud if they beat the Socs in the rumble. Well as they all begin to fight in the end of it all the Greasers end up winning. So the boys along with Dally ran back to the hospital to Johnny the new, as they arrived at the hospital Ponyboy and Dally went to speak to Johnny.
