Different ways are just the ways in which a property can differ among polymers, it do not divide them. A polymer belonging to one classification will surely belong to another classification. A synthetic polymer, which is also a type of classification, is classified on the basis of other properties in other classifications. Since we know major properties of polymers as on the basis of properties we have classified them, let’s know about the characteristics of the polymers. The characteristics of polymers are stated below. Characteristics of Polymers Thermoplastic are industrial polymers which can be heated and reshaped according to the wish of the manufactures. This process can be repeated a various number of times making it a major polymer for the industry. The property is the reason why thermoplastics can be easily handled and recycled again and again. The other set of polymer that is thermosetic plastics can’t be reshaped and when once made are forever.
