Child labor laws matter because, it protects children from doing jobs they can’t do at a young age, it keeps them from working to many hours so that they can attend school, and it keeps the hours down so that children can keep getting their education so that in the future they can get a better job and provide their family, and makes a rule of how old you have to be to get a job, this way you arent 8 years old driving a forklift, or work in a big factory. These are very important and matter because it is bad for them because if they work a lot of hours they won't get the proper education that they need. So then in the future they aren't going to have a good job, and they won't be productive in the future since they won´t have a good job.
