How do you Value life? We all live by different and many quotes, a quote that I live by is, “ It's better to cross the line and suffer the consequences than to just stare at the line for the rest of your life,” because in life you have to take risk, not everything is going to come to you easy. Sometimes you have to loose somethings in order to gain what you really want. In 2005 Steve Jobs gave a speech at Stanford University, he spoke about how he was close to death at a time, for him being close to death always made him want to do more. Bronnie Ware in the article Regrets of the Dying she talks about what many people regret not doing things that they wanted to do and and start to regret not doing it once they are close to death. It is when we are close to death when we start to regret not doing what we really wanted to do. A common regret that most people have when close to death is, “...people realise that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. Most people had not honoured even a half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made.” Regrets of Dying by Bronnie Ware, meaning that they had not completed some of there dreams that they once had and they had no one to blame but themselves. Many people do things that they didn't want to do they just did it to please others they were not going after their dream, they were complying on someone else's dream. In the speech that Steve Job presented to stated, “Remembering that I’ll be dead soon is the most important tool that I’ve ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life,” (Jobs 18) saying that all the accomplishments he has done, he’s been living each day like there is no tomorrow. Some people take life for granted and think that they will have another opportunity to accomplish what they want, when no one in life has tomorrow promised. We all have to learn to risk everything in
