In the “Three Ways to Respond,” it explains three ways to respond to an argument. These responses are demonstrated as agreeing, disagreeing, and agreeing and disagreeing simultaneously. Throughout the chapter, we learn that it is important to state your position because it allows the reader to become fully aware of your perspective. Agreeing with an argument should be stating your opinion and explaining why and then being able to provide evidence. Just simply agreeing with an argument in numerous ways can become a bit dull.
