First Grade Walking outside on my first day of first grade confused and lonely. Being only six years old I didn’t know what to do. I saw this girl who looked just like me. She had blonde hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a muted pink and yellow flowered shirt. She started walking towards me. Wow, I want to be friends with her. “Hey, do you want to go on the tire swing with me?” “Yes, that sounds like fun!” She said back. We played the whole the recess together. Our first-grade teacher Mr. Barbican pushed us so fast and high. We were laughing so hard that we lost control of our hands and we both fell off. We laid on our backs continuing to laugh the pain didn't phase us since we were having so much fun. I looked forward to recess now because I met my best friend that would go through many ups and downs with me.
