Failure was a difficult concept for me to accept. In fifth grade, I entered a spelling bee to represent my school in a fine arts competition against other students from other schools. Before the competition, I practice writing down my words and spelling them out loud in order to improve my cognitive process. Finally, the competition has arrived. In March of 2009, I enter the classroom. I stand along with other competitors in front of a small audience consisted of parents, my friends, and the dreaded judges. My legs are constantly shaking. My palms are sweating profusely. My heart is racing rapidly. Suddenly, judges order us one by one to spell a specific word. Before each word, I take deep breaths and begin spelling each letter.
