It was a cold Wednesday morning in February. I was very eager to get up and start my day. My friend and I had brought concert tickets to see our favorite song artists Chris Brown and Trey Songz. It was certainly not the first concert I’ve been to, but I got to see both my favorite artist at the same time! All day in school we were texting each other with excitement about it, what are we wearing, what time we’re leaving and who will we see. I was in my last period class waiting patiently for the two forty bell to ring, as soon as it rung I rushed outside waiting for my ride. When I arrived home I did all the homework that I had, I don’t even remember eating. I decided to start on my hair and makeup, because God only knows it takes me hours to…show more content…
When I got to her house she was no were near ready after texting me like crazy telling me to hurry up. While her cousin was doing her hair I decided to make sure I looked okay and did some last minute touch ups. We were beginning to be a few minutes late, so I helped my friend and her cousin so they could be done quicker. Finally she was done and we were ready to go. That was the root of all problems. Luckily I brought my charger with me, so we went back inside to charge my phone. Hundreds of people were inside for either two reasons, to charge their phone, or to keep warm from the extremely cold weather. Time moves on and its twelve o’clock in the morning and my phone still hasn’t turned on. Security tells everyone to evacuate the building so they begin closing. I started to panic because neither did my friend or myself had a charged phone. It’s freezing outside! All I craved was a warm blanket or the sensation of a warm summer night. I put plan B into action, and began to look for any available Police Officer. I find one and ask to use their phone but there were about two girls in front of me. As I waited I noticed that my friend and I were not the only ones left out in the cold without a phone. I hear other girls trying to get in contact with people and a girl getting yelled at for losing her sister, it was so much commotion, it was a crisis! The Police Officer hands my friend the phone as I’m focusing on keeping warm. I over hear her
