At this juncture, where I have made one of the most crucial and obvious decision of my professional career, I would like to list the factors that influenced me most and went into the making of this decision. Electrical Engineering has made an indelible mark on my psyche right from my school days. School made me realize my potential and what I was capable of. There was an opportunity for almost any and everything. By the time I reached senior school, I participated in elocutions, plays and was member of various school sport teams. I was very grateful to my mentors who emphasized more on practical knowledge. During my high school days, I was captured by electromagnetism which seemed very interesting. On the other hand, the intensive laboratory classes exposed me to a fascinating world of experimentation. It was here that I discovered the qualities of perseverance and diligence in myself. I feel that these courses have done a lot to prepare me for my future studies and research work. As an undergraduate student I have found keen interest in the subjects of Electrical machines and power systems in particular, which has stimulated me to take up further specialized studies in this field. In my seventh semester I have done a project on speed control of an induction motor using fuzzy logic controllers. My project was “controlling speed of induction motor using fuzzy logic controllers”. This project focused on controlling of speed of induction motor by using MAT lab software . I was the leader of the team of four. This project has brought the most out of me. My responsibilities as the team leader included designing the circuit part of supply to the induction motor and designing control signals . I also had the responsibility of coordinating the work of all the team members…show more content…
I was equally involved in organizing seminars and providing the junior students with valuable assistance in their laboratory activities. I even attended many technical symposiums in and out of the campus, industrial visits, etc which widened the horizons of my knowledge. I have given seminars spanning several topics and won appreciation for my communication skills. I am also acquainted with computer languages like C, C++ and
