Brutus and Caesar had a lot of power already in the Roman society, but who would make a better leader? Some may say that “Caesar is the best ruler for Rome”, but I believe that Brutus is the most fit character to be a leader in the entire book. Brutus is a take charge kind of person and knows what he wants. When there is something that he does not like about the government he takes charge and does something about it. He has many of the leader characteristics such as,loyalty, trust, dedication, Idealism, Etc.Brutus has many strengths, which are read throughout the story. Out of all of them, the one that characterizes him the most is that he is considered a noble man and an idealist. He would choose many people over someone that he knew to save thousands of lives.Another great strength Brutus had was his Loyalty. In a line in the book he said to his wife “You are my true and honorable wife, as dear to me as are the ruddy drops that visit my sad heart – Brutus” Meaning that he is very loyal to his wife and he loves her. Brutus also stays loyal to his friends to help them with their conspiracy.Brutus wad also a very wise man. He thought a head of time in this when Cassius said“Let Antony and Caesar fall together.” Brutus said “Our course will seem too bloody, Caius Cassius, to cut the head off and then hack the limbs.” He knew that if they were to kill Antony and Caesar things might seem too brutal because Antony is a follower, without Caesar he would be nothing and fall trying to be
