The Impact of Management in the Globalization of Business Globalization has been going on between countries since the beginning of time. As one country has resources that other countries lack of, they can establish a communication and plan to properly trade their goods and services between each country efficiently. As a business manager or representative it is important to understand the pros and cons that might be established after making a globalization trade with another organization in another country. One of the pros of establishing a globalization within your organization is that you can become a multinational corporation, which is defined as having offices or factories in another country and obtain a centralized head office where they can co-ordinate their global management. It has been found that organizations which have formal ethics training helps business owners run an effective workplace, and the importance of understand what ethical issues business people face is increased. One of the ethical issues managers have to endure is employee behavior. Whether an employee spends their work time checking personal emails, how a manager deals with certain claims of harassment within the workplace, and to what extend a manager can give a certain employee a promotion are all examples of ethical issues regarding their behavior. How these behaviors by the manager, and if handled poorly, then action can be sought. Small business owners can help prevent these ethical problems stemming from employee behavior by drafting a clear, attorney reviewed set of standards that dictate behavior policies for employees at all levels.
