The biggest challenge in today’s world is to attract and retain the best and most qualified workers. ’Diversity in the workplace’ refers to the differences that occur due to a mixture of gender, race ,origin ,disabilities ,sexual orientation or anything else. Moreover, diversity is not only defined by a single dimension alone. It is how individuals think and do things .This second dimension of diversity deals with economic status, communication style, working style and organizational role/level. Different cultures speak and interpret words differently. These perceptual, cultural and linguistic obstacles need to be overcome by an organization in order to succeed.
