I would like to address the advantages and implications of a unionized environment during this campaign . I will also address what is prohibited and permitted of your management representatives during this time. As you know, management must always be patient through this process as saying or not doing the right thing may bring in unlawful implications. I shall discuss my opinion as a consultant with you to help guide you through this process. There are advantages and disadvantages that come with a unionized environment. The disadvantages of the unionized business environment you must consider are: • Additional costs: There is an increased demand for the union members salary and benefits which is a major function in the union. Also, publicity from a strike may jeopardize the company's reputation and as a result, lead to a decrease in sales.
