Recruitment of child soldiers, or people under the age of 18 who are recruited by an armed force for any capacity, has increasingly become a problem in many countries, especially in the underdeveloped countries of Africa. Approximately 300,000 of them globally, once released, child soldiers have a difficult time integrating back into civil society. Child soldiers experience physical, as well as, psychological trauma as child soldiers and have difficulty adjusting back into civil society once released from these armed terrorist groups.
