Animals should not require our permission to live on earth. Animals were given the right to be here long before we arrived. They have the same rights as humans do. Animal cruelty happens every twelve seconds. Animal cruelty happens all over the world. “Those convicted of animal cruelty can be imprisoned. Appropriate sentencing can also include individual or family counseling, community service. Also a prohibition owning or caring for animals.” (The humane society of the United States). “Law enforcement officers and judges recognize that cruelty to animals is one part of a complex problem. If you suspect animal abuse in a home your call can open a door for help in the family.
