In today’s organizational society it is essential to understand the importance of work teams which directly refers to one of the statement of the famous engineer Henry Ford 1. He implied that working as a team leads to a successful result. As a teamwork is accomplished, the structure of the team, its goals and performance will be touchpoint of the effective teamwork. Since it has been required to have a knowledge of forming effective teams, perceiving the type of work team is cruel in organizing a team. If we look back 15 years or so, teams were a just initiative to improve quality and work environment as having been composed of 5 to 12 hourly employees from the same department. Since the team is from the same department, benefits derived from the problem-solving teams refer to better understanding among team members. This easy way of comprehending leads team to ultimately solve faced problems (“Advantages of problem-solving teams”, Krishna Reddy). Quality circles (QC) can be a proper sample for activities of problem-solving teams (“Work teams”, 2007). They can be from Human Resource, Legal office or Engineering. The team focuses on managing operational activity and products for new product development. Members sometimes come from outside of an organization like from suppliers, key customers or consultants. Each member proposes an alternative solution from their perspective to the problem and potential solution will be given to the task (“Cross-functional team”, Wikipedia). It is essential to note also my experience which got involved in creating Printing Management System in 2016. Since I have experienced in cross-functional team, several benefits – diversity of skills were the most crucial advantage of the team. The team members encountered conflict of interests because of existence of different backgrounds
