Malcolm X’s assassination was highly unjust because it was basically jealousy of others that led to his death. He was a very power, influential civil rights leader, who wanted himself, as well as the rest of the Black community, to be able to speak what they want to speak and to defend themselves, against the whites; however, some people felt that it was right that he should be put to death because it was labeled as a ‘threat’ to the American government. Malcolm X did not deserve to get killed because he was influential and very caregiving to his people. He organized communities that can help African-Americans defend themselves when they are feeling harmed or assaulted by the Black community. (Panther Members 1) Since he was an Islam, he was under the influence of Elijah Muhummad, the Muslim leader that whites were bad people and they were just like the devil. His impact on Africa was so strong that Africans would not allow the American government enter their country unless Malcolm approved. At this point, he was labeled as a huge threat to American society. But the only reason he was doing that was to just stand up for what he believes in and that was for African-Americans to have equal rights with the whites. So that should not be a good enough reason to take the life of a kindhearted soul. It is actually very disgusting. Towards the end of his life, Malcolm was able to find himself and find out the real, hard truth, instead of what Muhummad had been preaching to him. At this point, he had separated himself from that group because he had realized that he had been brainwashed. His whole alter ego had changed, and instead of being angry, he was more peaceful about fixing one of the worst problems in the United States. (Edward 254) Malcolm would always say that everyone should treat one another like brother and sister, and to not treat them the way you would not like to be treated, and if they should do something to harm their own community, then let those people address him/her.
