TATA GROUP TATA group began it venture in 1868. It was at this time when a trading company was set up by Jamshedji TATA. This followed establishment of “Empress Mills” in Nagpur and Taj Mahal hotels in Mumbai. The TATA group started the Steel Production and Hydroelectric Powers under the leadership of Sir Dorabji Tata. TATA is an Indian MNC. Headquartered at Mumbai, Tata group has its businesses in 80 countries in six continents.
