I believe that large food companies follow the economic model of social responsibility, they mostly believe that there are already too many legislation on food industry, when really there’s not enough of them. In the movie “Food, Inc.,” it says that companies do not want farmers to talk nor let the people to film the CAFO. The food companies do not want the public to know the truth; they don't want people to see how they ruthlessly treated the animals or how unsanitary the food-making environment is.
