Neurological brain development is when the brain processes to shape and reshape the nervous system. From birth to 1 year old the brain continues to develop at a quicker rate. The cerebellum which controls the motor skills will triple in size. The limited vision that babies have begins to develop into full binocular vision, as from around 3 months the babies will begin to recognise instantly, as the growth of the hippocampus: the limbic structure which controls the recognition memory. Language will also become easy in the first year as, an infant in a English speaking family will be able to identify different languages straight away.
