Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a machine that looks into the tissues of the body (Romanowski,2015). Our bodies are mostly made up of water, water is made up of hydrogen and oxygen atoms. The hydrogen atoms are the protons that get excited when in the MRI machine ( Nave,n.d.). MRI help find what is going on in the tissue of humans. This machine can find if a person has eye or inner ear problems, aneurysms, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries, stroke, tumors, brain structure and function, etc. (Lewis.2014). This medical device is able to find these problems in the body because; the MRI has a strong magnetic field that aligns and spins the hydrogen nuclei (protons) faster than their normal speed.
