In Westeros there are quite a few different religions and views on religion. There is one main religion, however, just like in today’s society of America. George R. R. Martin based the religions throughout his writings on actual religion in current time. A few of the main religions are: Faith of the Seven, The Old gods, the drowned god, and the red god. Faith of the Seven is the most prominent religious view in Westeros as a whole. The Seven represents Father, Mother, Maiden, Crone, Smith, Warrior, and Stranger. Much like in Christianity (Catholic in particular) how the Trinity represents the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
