1. INTRODUCTION In essence, a problem is a situation that confronts a person, that requires a solution, and for which the path to the solution is not immediately known. Problems are considered as a fact of life, in which we can say that life is not a life without having any problems even though the problems can be a hassle or a pain in the neck. In psychology, problem solving refers to a state of desire for reaching a definite goal from a present condition that either is not directly moving toward the goal, is far from it, or needs more complex logic for finding a missing description of conditions or steps toward the goal. Thus, in order to restore the dynamic and progressive role of Muslim Ummah, one of the vital skills required is problem solving skill, as it helps the students whenever they encounter problems in the journey of life, as vicegerents of Allah. However, when it comes to deal with problems in life, the differences between men and women become apparent. Both of the genders have their own preferred way to solve the problems, and it is affected by the differences of their brain anatomical as brains are built from different genetics. LITERATURE REVIEW 2.1 Reason of differences between men and women Men and women are known for having difficulty in getting along as according to Hoag, H (2008), ‘it’s common knowledge that the sexes often think very differently, but until recently these differences were explained by the action of adult sex hormones or by social pressures which encouraged males and females to behave in a certain way.’ As a result of this hackneyed phrase, some researchers have decided to go deeper in scrutinizing the other feasible reasons that lead to this disparity. They found that parts of the frontal lobe, which houses decision-making and problem-solving functions, were proportionally larger in women, as was the limbic cortex, which regulates emotions (Hoag, H,2008). This finding supports the claim that men and women have different ways in problem-solving skill which this research will focus on. 3. METHODS There are two methods that can be used in collecting data which are the primary data that will cover on questionnaires and secondary data that will cover on other resources such as journal and e-book but will not going to be used for this research. Distributing questionnaires to respondents will help in collecting data and can be one of the effective methodologies as it will calculate the data from group of people who represent the large group of the
